The popular 5-member group, the Wonder Girls, will be returning from the US as soon as the 11th in order to speed up preparations for the group’s first domestic concert.
According to a conversation with the Wonder Girls’ management company, JYPEntertainment, on the morning of the 9th, the Wonder Girls—who left for the US on January 31—will be arriving back in Korea either in the afternoon of the 11th or on the morning of the 12th. It has been said that the Wonder Girls met with Park Jin Young, the head of JYPEntertainment, during their stay in America in order to discuss general plans for activities in the US among other things. The Wonder Girls have plans for consecutive concert appearances in Los Angeles on March 5, Orange County on March 6, and New York in March 8.
On this day, a representative for JYPEntertainments stated, “While staying in the US, the Wonder Girls discussed the tentative agenda of what will happen from now on. After returning to Korea on the 11th–at the earliest–they’re going to do all they can to prepare for their domestic concert coming up at the end of March.”
The Wonder Girls will hold concerts at the Pusan KBS Hall on March 21 and at Seoul Olympic Park’s Fencing Arena on March 28. This will be the first time the Wonder Girls are holding a solo-concert in the country since their early-2007 debut.
Meanwhile, the Wonder Girls have plans to depart again after only a brief stay in the country following their return due to their February 28 concert in Bangkok, Thailand.
