Initally, when the interview started, Sunmi wasnt feeling comfortable .
She kept rubbing her stomach.
Later on some of the fans wrote a note to her, asking if she was okay .
Sunmi shook her head and said nevermind.
When they ate 驴打滚, her appetite grew.
She swallowed the whole thing with a munch.
Then later on she continued rubbing her stomach.
The fans in the studio wrote another message concerning Sunmi.
Once again, Sunmi replied that it doesn`t matter.

She must have been suffering

[news] Wonder Girls have plans for China too! June 10, 2009

wow…..so this means….no WG in Korea for 2009? no MBC,KBS & SBS Music Festival performances?…..anyways i’m happy though that they are taking 3 or 4 step forward for their career just like what JYP said in this interview……

i am not really surprised that WG can start from scratch again and act the same even before they debuted….that is because our girls are no DIVAs! they are very down-to-earth ^_^ and that’s one of the things i love about them ^_^

i am excited for the english album ^_^

The Wonder Girls were in Beijing, China today for a studio interview with Sina.com. There were the usual interview questions with the Wonder Girls which I am not going to write on much since we have ALL heard it before. What’s important though was the interview with JY Park who revealed his masterplan outline about the Wonder Girls taking on America and China in the latter half of 2009.

JY Park confirmed that the Wonder Girls were indeed appearing on 13 shows for the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 and said it would be a meaningful opportunity. He said that it was not simply taking 1 step but essentially going 3 – 4 steps away from others who were debuting at the same time. JY Park also said, “There’s Toyota, Hyundai in America while Jackie Chan has also made a name for himself in Hollywood. But why isn’t there an Asian artiste who can hold his own in the music industry? This is an excellent opportunity for us and although it’s going to be a difficult one, I have to say that there is no better time for us to enter the industry then now.”

JY Park also lavished praise on his charges, “When one goes to America, everyone has to start from scratch again. The Wonder Girls might be really popular in Korea because of Nobody, but it’s nothing in America because no one knows about them. But I am very touched to see them being able to start from scratch again, with the same determination as they did before their debut in Korea and the strong will to want to excel again.”

‘In Korea, there will be people helping them to clean their rooms, handle their daily lifestyles for them because of their star status. But after going to America, I told them that they were not stars anymore, they have to start from scratch again, being just like how they were before their debut. They have to get their own necessities, clean their own rooms, etc. It’s pretty difficult to adjust from being a star to a nobody in such a short time, but they were able to accept it and just do it effortlessly, so I am very impressed.

JYP also talked about plans for the Wonder Girls in China, “Actually, our plans for the Wonder Girls have a concert in China has been pretty much finalized for this winter. We hope that a lot of people will come to support them. Besides releasing an English album this autumn in America, we are also going to release a Chinese album at the same time as well. All of them have a Chinese name and have been learning the language constantly, hoping to meet their Chinese fans with their album as soon as possible.”

This pretty much confirms that we won’t see them in Korea much for 2009.

i forgot to make screencaps because  was so focused on watching lol anyways i got pics from WGCN…the girls were all so fabulous^_^ i really love that Sunye gained weight especially on her face coz she looks healthier now and i love her chubby cheeks ^_^….at the start where they were eating it looks okay but towards the end it gets more awkward haha…i was waiting for them to perform Nobody but i think i got te info wrong lol…it will be for tomorrow haha ^_^

anyways did you guys saw the “Sunyewords” banner at the back of Sohee? lol that was so random haha ^_^ i am wondering how it got there haha…hmmm i must visit sunyewords later on maybe they will post some fancams ^_^

anyways here is a summary of what happened during the live interview thanks to kjpop ^_^

The girls have made a pit stop in China and made a special appearance on a live webchat session with Chinese fans, and well, basically anyone that tuned in.

Despite the site stating specifically that the girls would be on at 7:00 PM, the girls appeared 20 minutes later, with 2000+ fans waiting eagerly to see them on their computer screens. Questions were taken prior to the webcast and a special promo video was shown constantly until live airing of the program.

There were short introductions of the girls as they answered questions from the fans, revealing some of the girls personalities and habits. SunYe was voted on by the girls as the “mirror lady” and YooBin was stated to have a different personality around guys. At the beginning of the show, the Wonder Girls wowwed the fans with their impressive handling of the Chinese language, but for the rest of the show, a translator was brought in. At certain points when the girls were speaking Chinese Mandarin, they did seem to experience some trouble.

After a small chat session with the girls, they brought in the Sina Studio mascot and YeEun and SunYe showed him/her how to perform the dance for their hit single, Nobody. They also brought in the main man himself, JYP, to join the questionnaire chat session with the rest of the girls. He revealed even more things about the girls individual personalities and habits and the girls did likewise for him. He even mentioned the girls’ plans of moving on to the states, stating something along the lines of “The girls are basically nobodies there, so they will have to start from the very bottom and work their way up. It will involve much hard work, but with effort, they can succeed. There have been no Asians as of late to break-through the American entertainment industry. I hope to achieve this success with the girls.”

A Singapore Wonderful flew in also just to give the girls some goodies. If that’s not dedication, I don’t know what is. She was even sporting a t-shirt that was similar to what the girls were wearing at their concerts earlier this year!

The Wonder Girls will also be appearing on another program tomorrow at 3PM. That’s 3AM for us east coasters! With much thanks to KimYoobin.WordPress.com, here’s the link where you can tune in!
